Looking for outdoor winter activities besides fishing? Golden Beach Resort offers miles of trails that are great for hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing or bird watching. When weather is permitting take a skate on Rice Lake or one of the ponds located on the grounds.
Looking to bring your snowmobile? Check out the Great Pine Ridge Snowmobile Trails, there are over 300km for you to explore.
Quaint small towns with antique shops, great restaurants and rich in heritage. Stop in at Kawartha Downs to see the horse racing or try your luck at the Slots. So much to experience within a short 20 minute drive.
