COVID-19 Updates & Policies

THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF OUR STAFF, OWNERS & GUESTS IS OUR PRIORITY

The well-being of our Great Blue Resort owners, guests and staff is our top priority. We closely monitor The Public Health Agency of Canada and our local health authorities for their recommendations and immediately apply them to operating protocols.

We take the cleanliness of our facilities to heart and have prepared detailed protocols for optimum sanitation of common areas. Rest assured that an over and above rigorous cleaning process using sanitizing products will be in effect. Our team is reminded daily about the increased hand-washing measures, as well as a strict protocol should they have any health concerns.

We continue to monitor closely as the situation develops, and we will take direction from provincial and federal authorities as required. Your health, safety and well-being always be our top priority.

WE KINDLY ASK IN RETURN

Please wear a mask in public indoor spaces and observe all social distancing rules. If you’re experiencing symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has, please stay home.

FOR OUR RENTAL GUESTS

For Covid-19 concerns, please bring all you will need for your stay with us. Social distancing rules will be in effect as well as safe shopping practices at all resort destination food and retail locations.

In addition, we ask that you please bring your own:​

  • Beach towels, bathroom towels & face cloths

  • Toiletries, bug spray & sunscreen, water shoes

  • Food and beverages

  • Folding chairs for around fire pit

  • Personal life jackets

  • Bring a mask for your stay. Masks are now mandatory in all public indoor areas on our resorts, including the Welcome Centre where you will be checking in.

The employees of Great Blue Resorts will be committed to reducing the potential for, and occurrences of, injury and illness in the workplace.

  • Our employees commit to reporting any type of incident including performance or ethical inappropriate behaviours and/or infractions and/or concerns.

  • Our employees agree to conduct themselves in a way which is compliant with the law, and with the Health and Safety policies established.

  • Our employees will participate in necessary training, follow instruction from supervisors, and use safety equipment and all materials needed to ensure work is done in the safest manner possible.

  • Our employees agree to advise management and fellow employees of any potentially dangerous or harmful, Health and Safety concerns.

  • Our employees agree to practice the Great Blue Resorts "Dare to Care" credo.

  • Our employees have reviewed, understood and committed to practice all of our safety guidelines for Protecting Employees, Cottage Owners, Guests and Operations during the coronavirus.
