Golden Beach Resort offers many different types of accommodation to suit all of our guest's needs. Whether you want to bring the whole family or just get away for a fishing trip with your friends, we have the cottage for you.

General Information

• Check-in time: Between 2 - 5pm (if the unit is ready earlier our guests are welcome to move in, however we cannot make any guarantees).
• Check out time: 10am
• Regretfully, there are no pets allowed in or around our cottages or condos. However, pets are permitted in some resort homes - call for details. A charge for pets as well as a cleaning/damage deposit may be required.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded deposit less 50% + HST. Within 30 days prior to arrival the deposit will be forfeited.
• We supply bedding, pillows, first roll of toilet paper, and two garbage bags. Guests must bring their own towels. However, towels can be provided for a nominal charge.
• Beds are made up prior to arrival only. Maid Service is available upon request. Please contact the office to make arrangements.

General Cottage/Condo Suites/Resort Home Overview

All self-catering cottages, condos and resort homes are bright and roomy and are equipped with a full size fridge, full size stove, colour T.V., electric heat and 3-piece bathrooms. Bed linens (sheets, pillowcases and blankets) are now supplied, except in our "No Frills" cottages. We also supply pillows, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, a toaster, the first roll of toilet paper and 2 garbage bags. All cottages and condos have a charcoal BBQ, lawn furniture and a campfire pit.

We would be pleased to supply bedding and towels in our "No Frills" cottages at an additional charge. Regretfully, no pets are allowed in cottages or condos, but inquire about our pet friendly resort homes. Please consider a local kennel for your 4 legged friend.

Each unit is priced for a maximum number of persons. A 2 bedroom is for up to 4 persons, 3 bedroom is for up to 6 persons and the 4 bedroom is for up to 8 persons. We are unable to tolerate overcrowding and will only accept one extra person per unit, by pre-arrangement only. Please be aware that there will be an extra charge at a rate of $50.00/night or $225.00/week per person. Children 2 and under are half the rate. ** No Exceptions Please**

Traditional Cottages (Lakefront and Off Lakefront)

All Traditional 2 and 3 bedroom cottages have ceiling fans, electric coffee makers, microwaves, basic satellite T.V. and bedding. Whether you choose to be right on the lakefront or just off, we have the cottage to suit your needs.

Lakefront Condo Suites

All of our self-catering 2 bedroom condo suites face the water. With an exceptional view overlooking the harbour, there are spacious balconies to enjoy the sunsets.

The condo suites come equipped with ceiling fans, electric coffee makers, microwaves, basic satellite T.V. and bedding. Each bedroom in the condos has one double bed and each unit will accommodate up to 4 people.

Deluxe Cottages

The deluxe cottages boasts beautifully appointed interiors and are available in 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. The cottages are equipped with all the essentials such as ceiling fans, electric coffee makers, microwaves, basic satellite T.V. and bedding. They are also equipped with in-room safes, bathtubs, spacious decks with lounge chairs and propane gas BBQs.

Classic Cottages

These superior 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom magnificent cottages are located on the beachfront. They are complete with ceiling fans, electric coffee makers, microwaves, basic satellite T.V, in-room safes, fireplaces and bedding. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with an ensuite, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds which can be easily combined to create a king size bed. The main bathroom is a four piece. These cottages also have large, spacious, partially covered decks, which face directly onto the lake.

Resort Homes

All exclusive resort homes come with a spectacular view, like none other. These four-season homes are overlooking scenic Rice Lake and are in a private gated neighborhood. Homes have fully equipped kitchens with coffee makers and microwaves. They also have washers and dryers, fireplaces, large decks and come complete with all the beddings and towels. Most homes come equipped with dishwashers and air conditioning, and some homes are even pet friendly. With a private children's playground conveniently located in the village and easy access to miles of hiking trails, this quieter location is perfect for your getaway!

No Frills Cottages

All 2 bedroom offlake "No Frills" cottages have 1 double bed in each room. The "No Frills" cottages come equipped with only the basics and have only colour T.V. With a screened in porch and close proximity to the pool, playground and recreation centre, these units are ideal for an economical holiday. Please remember, we do not supply bedding or towels in the "No Frills", you must bring them along. (pillow cases, sheets, blankets)

THE CREW'S LIST OF THINGS TO BRING FOR YOUR VACATION

Bedding and Towels

Bedding is supplied (you do need to bring your own towels) in all our cottages with the exception of our "No Frills" cottages. If you plan or are scheduled to stay in one of our "No Frills" cottages, you are required to bring your own bedding and towels for your vacation.

Bedding and towels are supplied in Resort Home rentals and are also included in pre-arranged wedding bookings. Otherwise, towels can be provided at an additional charge. Please call for details.

Blankets

It might get a little cool at night during spring and fall rentals, so bring along a blanket or two! Comes handy in the boat if it gets choppy or for a night by the campfire.

Dish Soap, Washcloths, Tea Towels and Dish Towels

All units have fully equipped kitchens, with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and more, but the above items are not included.

Cash Deposits and Payments

Fishing licenses can only be purchased with cash. Also, the refundable security card deposit ($20) and refundable key deposit ($5) are to be paid in cash only, upon arrival. For other items we do accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac. There is also an on-site ATM.

Food

Remember to pack your salt, pepper, coffee and filters plus all the other basics. We also have an on-site licensed restaurant and a well stocked general store.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

Pets

Although we understand how much pets are a part of the family, we must insist on our policy: pets are not allowed in our cottages or condos. They are, however, permitted in the camping area as well as selected resort homes. For any resort home that allows pets, a charge per pet plus a cleaning/damage deposit may be required. We would be happy to recommend a local kennel.

The Kitchen Sink

Although you might think it is necessary to pack up your whole house, the units are well equipped. If you do happen to forget something, we have an on-site general store and a very accommodating staff to help meet your requests.
